At Simani Africa, we believe lasting transformation begins when communities are empowered to lead their own solutions. Our Theory of Change is rooted in the idea that when people are given access to skills, resources, partnerships, and opportunity, they can create sustainable progress from within. By investing in local leadership, strengthening capacity, and fostering long-term collaboration, we help communities move from vulnerability to resilience and from dependence to self-driven growth.

Simani Africa was founded on the principle that communities deserve organisations they can trust. That means being open about how we make decisions, how we manage resources, and how we measure our impact.
Our Board provides independent oversight of Simani Africa’s strategy, finances, and operations. Board members serve fixed terms and bring diverse expertise spanning finance, law, development, health, and community leadership.
Day-to-day leadership is provided by our Executive Team, who are accountable to the Board and responsible for translating strategy into action across all programmes and geographies.
A panel of respected experts and community leaders who provide guidance, challenge our thinking, and help us stay connected to the realities of the communities we serve.

At Simani Africa, we have never believed in going it alone. Every milestone we have reached, every community we have served, and every life we have touched has been made possible through the generosity, collaboration, and trust of our partners and funders.
Organisations we collaborate with to design and deliver programmes on the ground — bringing complementary expertise, networks, and resources to our shared mission.
Foundations, donors, and institutions whose financial support makes our work possible. We are deeply grateful for their belief in Simani Africa’s vision.
The local organisations, community groups, and grassroots leaders who are our eyes, ears, and hands in the communities we serve. They are not just partners — they are the heartbeat of our work
Whether you are a corporation looking to fulfil your social responsibility mandate, a foundation seeking aligned grantees, or a community organisation ready to collaborate — we would love to explore what we can build together.
